Tanyard Creek Falls, AR.

Partial: distance from the parking lot to the falls is not stated

Arkansas

Tanyard Creek Falls

The nature trail is 2.2 miles in two parts; the distance to the falls alone is not stated in the reviewed sources

The trail starts at the parking lot about a mile west of Highway 71 on Lancashire Boulevard (Highway 340). The first quarter mile is paved, then it becomes a maintained dirt trail past a suspension bridge and limestone bluffs. A climb up a hill leads to Tanyard Creek Falls, which has an overlook. The falls are fed by Lake Windsor and flow year round, fullest in spring after rain.

The reviewed sources do not establish whether this specific approach qualifies; it is not presented as an approved trail.

Arkansas

Little Glory Hole

About 0.3 mile one way by the guide listing (easy bushwhack); the nearby road walk between falls is a separate, longer option

From Big Flat on Highway 14, go east 3.8 miles, turn left on Highway 341 (Push Mountain Road) for 2.3 miles, then left on gravel Rand Road (FR 1118). Park along the side of the road about 2.1 miles down Rand Road. Drop down the steep drainage and follow the creek to the 18 foot waterfall, which has worn a hole in the overhanging bluff like the larger Glory Hole. The area borders the Leatherwood Wilderness. Save the visit for after a good amount of rain.
