Lichen Falls

At Arbaugh Road’s OHT crossing, walk west across the road onto the Ozark Highlands Trail. Follow the small stream to a trail view of Lichen Falls on the right; return the same way.

Explore the Ozarks gives a quarter mile one-way; Henry reports less than a quarter mile from parking. Return distance is approximately half a mile.

Mostly level trail with a small dip; off-trail descent is steep and slippery.

Where to start

OHT Arbaugh Road trailhead: from Highway 16 west of Fallsville, take FR1404/Arbaugh Road 3.2 miles, keeping right at the fork, to marked parking. OHTA lists Arbaugh Road as a major trailhead.
