Rick Henry: Spirits Creek and Upper and Lower Robinson Falls (2019)

Cross the road from parking and follow the OHT west downhill. At about 1.04 miles, take the right spur toward the campsite above Spirits Creek Falls. The Robinson tributary enters from the left upstream of those falls. Cross only in safe conditions, then follow the tributary about 100 yards to Lower Robinson and a shorter distance onward to Upper Robinson.

Rick Henry’s 2019 recorded outing includes Spirits Creek Falls and both Robinson Falls. It is not a measured direct-only route to Upper Robinson.

Where to start

Rick Henry identifies the clearing at 35.684246,-93.897851, just beyond the OHT crossing on Ragtown Road. From Highway 23 take White Rock Mountain Road 4.2 miles, bear right for 1.4 miles, then right onto Ragtown Road for 0.8 mile. This is a historical informal clearing; current authorization to park here has not been verified.
