Rick Henry describes a faint path downstream on the left bank to Mitchell Branch Falls. The reported descent is on that side of the creek; the opposite-bank detour is much rougher. This waterfall is distinct from the small Mitchell Branch swimming-hole waterfall farther east, despite conflicting names in some listings.
