Where to start

Explore the Ozarks identifies Hawksbill Crag trailhead parking on the right about six miles up steep gravel Cave Mountain Road from Highway 21.

Timing & water

Current parking and spur conditions unverified; waterfall flow varies with rain.

Before you go

The official 2026 Forest Service schedule lists Whitaker Point/Hawksbill Crag as free. This confirms the trailhead fee, not authorization of every off-trail waterfall approach.
