Where to start

Sources describe limited parking near the T at the end of FR 1410-B, reached via Cave Mountain Road and FR 1410. They advise stopping before FR 1410-B without high clearance and four-wheel drive; check current road access.

Timing & water

Avoid treating old road descriptions as current conditions. Wet weather can make the rough approach impassable.
