Broadwater Hollow Falls

From the roadside parking on NC 2660, walk down the road across the creek and take the east-side path downstream. Pass Paige Falls, regain the path, and continue downstream to Broadwater Hollow Falls; retrace the route.

Jon King’s Outbound route lists 0.37 mile, out-and-back, visiting both Paige and Broadwater Hollow falls; not an official NPS measurement.

Rough gravel access road, creek crossing, uneven path and slippery rock.

Where to start

TAKAHIK identifies parking area B at 36.10523, -93.26787, about 2 miles down the rough road opposite the volunteer fire department on Highway 43 near Compton. Outbound locates it before the sharp left bend and creek crossing on NC 2660.

Timing & water

Firsthand directions recommend spring or recent rain; high water can obstruct the crossing.
