The 2022 firsthand account starts on the ATV track at the clearing’s right edge. For the shorter approach, stay on that track beyond the first creek, then leave it at the published junction, 35.52718,-92.86755, for an approximately 300-yard bushwhack to Green Grotto. This describes the historical approach, whose parking authorization remains unverified.

Scott Hallmark’s roughly 3–3.25-mile loop includes several additional waterfalls. It is not assigned to the shorter Green Grotto-only route.

Where to start
The author parks at 35.534838,-92.864729, in a clearing on Lindsey Motorway. From Highway 27 just beyond Dare Creek, take White Oak Mountain Road about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Lindsey Motorway and continue 0.9 mile. Avoid substituting the shorter direct river-ford route. The 2022 clearing is an informal parking location. Current authorization to park and begin this approach has not been established.
