Fiddlehead Falls

TAKAHIK describes descending from parking area A to the upper cascade, crossing Mill Creek there or upstream, then following the north-bank path down to Fiddlehead Falls.

Henry’s 2015 outing to Fiddlehead and its lower falls was less than half a mile return. This is a firsthand estimate, not an official trail length.

Creek crossing, steep slopes and slippery bluff terrain. Henry could not use the normal crossing during high water.

TAKAHIK locates parking area A at 35.53567, -92.86044, about 0.7 mile along Lindsey Road/FR 1311 from White Oak Mountain Road/FR 1301. Current roadside authorization is unverified.
