Horsetail Falls

From the concrete bridge on Falling Water Road, use the horse trail toward Fuzzy Butt Falls. About 0.4 mile along, turn left before the tributary crossing and climb beside the creek to Lower Horsetail Falls. Return the same way.

Hallmark gives 0.4 mile to the side-path junction; his additional quarter mile reaches the upper falls, not this lower drop.

Broad horse trail followed by an uphill, indistinct creek approach; leaves can hide the path.

Hallmark’s April 2021 report parks beside the narrow concrete bridge on Falling Water Road, beyond Falling Water Falls. Present roadside parking restrictions are unverified.
