Ground & access
Old road and informal footpath; exposed bluff edges. Base access is steep.

An informal route to a waterfall in the upper Indian Creek drainage. The rim approach is easier than the steep descent to the base.

Plan your visit

Cross Highway 74 from the Horseshoe Canyon Ranch Road parking area. Follow the old jeep road past the pond; at the creek and Wilderness Boundary sign turn left toward the waterfall rim. Return the same way.

417 Magazine (May 2026) gives 0.7 mile out-and-back; Brent Toellner reports roughly 1 mile return to the top from his November 2015 visit. Base descent adds an unmeasured extension.

Old road and informal footpath; exposed bluff edges. Base access is steep.

Where to start

Both firsthand reports describe a small parking area at the Highway 74 junction with Horseshoe Canyon Ranch Road. The trail starts across the highway.

Timing & water

Toellner photographed flowing falls after two days of rain; current flow unknown.
