Where to start

Parking is the unresolved part. Oregon Hikers says No Parking signs are posted at the gate and at all pullouts on Lee Falls Road, advises not parking anywhere near, and says to park on a public street even if that means a longer walk. Locals have damaged cars parked at the gate.

Timing & water

Oregon Hikers lists the road walk as open all year. Summer parking restrictions make that season a poor time to visit.
