From the Youngs River Falls parking area, follow the short downhill trail to the waterfall base and return uphill. Visitors who do not take the trail can also see the falls from the lot.

NPS specifies a 0.25-mile downhill trail from parking to the base; return distance is twice that. A parking-lot view is also available.

Astoria Parks identifies Youngs River Loop Road off Highway 202 south of Astoria. NPS confirms the waterfall parking lot and trail start.
