Middle North Falls drops about 106 feet on the North Fork Silver Creek in Silver Falls State Park. From the Winter Falls Trailhead, take the Winter Trail down past Winter Falls to the bridge over the North Fork and the Canyon Trail junction. Turn left (downstream). The trail passes near the top of the falls; about a tenth of a mile on, a dead-end side trail goes behind the falls to an overhang. A little farther down the Canyon Trail is a last view back at the falls framed by mossy maples. Return the same way, or continue to Drake Falls and Double Falls.
