Double Falls is the tallest waterfall in Silver Falls State Park, dropping about 178 to 184 feet in two steps on Hullt Creek. From the Winter Falls Trailhead on Highway 214, take the Winter Trail down past the base of Winter Falls to the steel bridge over the North Fork Silver Creek and the Canyon Trail junction. Turn left (downstream) on the Canyon Trail, past Middle North Falls and Drake Falls, to the footbridge over Hullt Creek. The bridge gives a tree-filtered view that includes the upper drop. Turn right where the sign points to Double Falls and follow the side path to its end at the base.
