Rodney Falls is a two-tiered waterfall on Hardy Creek in Beacon Rock State Park, in the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. Its upper tier drops into a rock alcove called the Pool of the Winds. From the Hamilton Mountain Trailhead, climb the wide, well-graded Hamilton Mountain Trail. At about 1 mile a side trail drops to the Hardy Falls viewpoint, where trees block much of the view. Continue to a split where Rodney Falls comes into view. The left fork leads shortly to the railed Pool of the Winds viewpoint; the right fork crosses Hardy Creek on a footbridge at the base of the falls. Return the same way, or continue up to Hamilton Mountain.
