Middle Stevens Creek Falls is a small two-step drop of about 15 feet on Stevens Creek in Stevens Canyon, Mount Rainier National Park, overlooked by a developed viewpoint. From the Box Canyon Picnic Area, west of the Box Canyon tunnel on Stevens Canyon Road, take the Stevens Creek Trail, which drops moderately steeply. Just as the creek comes into view, take the fenced spur trail that drops down to the viewpoint. Return the same way. The survey notes that a small cascade at the Wonderland Trail footbridge, about an eighth of a mile downstream, has been called Lower Stevens Falls in some guidebooks; the true Lower Stevens Creek Falls is farther downstream. Neither is this falls.
