Emerald Falls is an unofficially named 10-foot slide on Gorton Creek, about 100 yards downstream of Gorton Creek Falls. From the Wyeth Trailhead, walk 100 feet to the junction near Gorton Creek. The Wyeth Trail goes uphill to the left and the Gorge Trail #400 crosses the creek to the right; go straight ahead on the wide path along the creek, passing small cascades, to Emerald Falls. The official trail ends here. The boulder scramble beyond to Gorton Creek Falls is not part of this route. Return the same way.
