Walk toward the small red house on the south side of the ministry complex, toward Mill Shoals. Before reaching Mill Shoals, take the path on the left that leads downstream about 0.1 miles to a rock wall above the river. The upper drop of Pulpit Falls is directly below. A side path about 40 yards farther leads to its base. NCWaterfalls says it is not safe to go down to the base of the lower drop.

NCWaterfalls gives a hike distance of a little over 0.1 miles from the NC 215 parking area.

Where to start

Gravel area on the west side of NC 215, just south of the There is More Ministries at Living Waters complex: 9.25 miles south of Beech Gap on the Blue Ridge Parkway or 7.8 miles north of US 64. Waterfall Hero says not to block gates or park anywhere else on the property.

Timing & water

Current access policy not confirmed with the landowner. Higher water makes the riverbank more dangerous.
