Schroon Falls is a very small curtain cascade, only about 2 feet high, on the Schroon River almost directly under the US 9 bridge between Schroon Lake and North Hudson. Northern New York Waterfalls says it cannot be seen from the road; you reach the river bank beside the bridge. The same source reports Posted signs a few dozen feet inland on the south bank and keeps to the rocks by the bridge support. The roads on the southwest side of the bridge are labeled private.
