Rockwell Falls is a wide drop of about ten feet on the Hudson River between the villages of Lake Luzerne and Hadley. From NY 9N in Lake Luzerne, north of the Hudson River bridge, turn west onto Bay Road, then left onto Bridge Street. Park on the street before the bridge and walk onto the bridge; the falls are just upstream. The horseshoe shape is on the right bank (facing downstream). In high water the whole river width is covered; in late summer the left bank (facing downstream) side can be almost dry.
