High Falls is a 96-foot waterfall on the Genesee River in Rochester's High Falls District. The City of Rochester calls the Pont de Rennes pedestrian bridge one of the best places to see it. Walk across the bridge from Platt Street (Morrie Silver Way); from the far end, go right to a viewing platform on the east side of the falls, or come back and walk down Browns Race past the Triphammer Forge to the Terrace Park viewing platform on the west side, at the end of Commercial Street. The city reopened the bridge in June 2026 after closures to replace its deck coating.
