Steep Creek Falls is a 52-foot falls where Steep Creek veils directly into Rock Creek, striking a ledge halfway down. It is beside Rock Creek Road about 5 miles northwest of Stevenson. Take Rock Creek Drive north from Highway 14 past Skamania Lodge, turn left on Ryan Allen Road, then left on Red Bluff Road, which becomes Rock Creek Road. Follow the gravel road about 5 1/2 miles, staying left where a road drops to the right about 2 1/2 miles in, to the bridge over Rock Creek with the falls on the left. Side and head-on views are possible from the road. Visitor guides describe scrambling down beside the bridge to the creek; that is not a built trail and is not described here. Who owns the land along the road is not stated.
