McCauley Falls is a seasonal 75-foot falls on Hanstead Creek on the hillside north of the Cherry Creek valley near Duvall. The falls are on private land. The survey says the landowners have not closed access but ask that anyone who wants to visit the falls get permission in advance, because of past vandalism, dumping and illegal parking. Without permission, the survey says the best view is from beside SR 203 just north of the parking area for the Snoqualmie Wildlife Area Cherry Valley Unit. Walk a short way along the highway to get clear of the trees. The view is distant and partial, mainly in winter when the trees are bare and the creek is flowing. Do not go onto the private land without permission.
