Cherry Creek Falls is a 20- to 25-foot falls over a wide ledge into a large pool, the last waterfall on Cherry Creek outside Duvall. WTA says access is part of an agreement with nearby homeowners: the first half mile of the trail is a courtesy easement within private property, so stay on the main path, keep dogs leashed, keep noise down and pack out trash. From the blue DNR gate, follow the old road. Cross Margaret Creek on a bridge at about three-quarters of a mile, stay left at the first junction and right at the second, then right at the third and downhill. At the sharp hairpin at 1.5 miles, go left on a muddy track through the woods, then rejoin the old road and go straight about another mile to Hannan Creek, which you ford. The path to the falls branches right just past the creek, sometimes hidden behind a dirt pile, and leads to a firepit area above the falls and a short path to the base. Return the same way.
