Rusty Run Falls, also called Rusty Falls, is in Loyalsock State Forest near Eagles Mere. Private property blocks the closer approach, so the route starts from Shanerburg Road. Walk past the gate and follow the old dirt road, part of the bridle trail system, for about 1.2 miles, staying straight where a trail branches right about half a mile in. Where the road meets Rusty Run, do not cross. Turn right and walk upstream through open forest, keeping the stream on your left, for a couple of hundred yards to the falls. There is no official trail for this last part. Return the same way.
