Alpine Falls is a three-tiered waterfall on the Loyalsock Trail in Loyalsock State Forest, near but not in Worlds End State Park. From the pull-off on Loyalsock Road, follow the old log road that branches off the main road for about half a mile to the Loyalsock Trail. Turn right on the Loyalsock Trail; it crosses the stream above the falls (a wet crossing) and descends to stream level. For a full view of the falls, Uncovering PA describes walking about 100 yards upstream off the trail, which can be difficult or unsafe in high water. Return the same way.
