Stair Creek Falls is a two-tier waterfall that drops about 35 feet straight into the Rogue River from the south bank, in the Wild Rogue Wilderness. It is seen across the river from Inspiration Point on the Rogue River Trail, which follows the north bank. At Inspiration Point the trail runs on a narrow ledge high on the cliff above Mule Creek Canyon and the Coffeepot rapid. The nearest trailhead is Marial, at the end of Marial Road; from there the trail heads west into the wilderness. Return the same way. The full Rogue River Trail runs from Grave Creek to Big Bend near Foster Bar and is often hiked as a multi-day trip.
