After 3.5 miles, both guides say to turn right and continue north for 12.7 miles to gravel Sugar Loaf Mountain Road on the right; they label that highway NC 218, so check the road number on a map. Sugar Loaf Mountain Road becomes Forest Road 275. Drive just under 1 mile; the 25 foot falls on a tributary of Mill Creek is on the left, right beside the road. It is on private property, so view it from the road.
