Ground & access
Steep descent, a twisting riverside path, a tricky river ford and a rough scramble beyond it. Adams rates the hike difficult because of the river wade. Turn around if the water is up or muddy.

Kevin Adams describes two paths leaving the south end of the pull-off. Take the left fork, which descends steeply for 0.3 miles to a riverside campsite, then follow the path upstream for 0.5 miles to a river crossing. Cross only when the water is low and clear. Continue upstream on a rough scramble path for 0.25 miles to a side path down to the river; the waterfall is seen from a boulder in the riverbed or by wading. Return the same way.
