Wedge Brook Cascades is an estimated 100-foot slide and three-part cascade on Wedge Brook, on private Adirondack Mountain Reserve land open to hikers through an easement. From the AMR lot, walk through the Ausable Club grounds to the Lake Road gate and sign in. About a quarter mile past the gate, turn right on the East River Trail, cross the bridge over the East Branch of the Ausable River, and bear left on the West River Trail. At 2.0 miles from the gate, turn right on the Wedge Brook Trail. Wedge Brook Falls is at the footbridge; a sign there says the cascades are 200 yards above, up a steep scramble. Return the same way.
