Pyramid Falls is a small ribbon slide of about 35 feet on Pyramid Brook inside the Adirondack Mountain Reserve (AMR), private land open to hikers under a state conservation easement. Northern New York Waterfalls says it is the first stop on the West River Trail: turn right at the guard house, cross the river and head upstream; 2000 feet past the Cathedral Rocks junction you cross Pyramid Brook, and a sign points right to Pyramid Falls. The brook carries little water. AMR rules require hikers to stay on marked trails; dogs, swimming and fishing are not allowed.
