Tobacco Falls is a series of low stepping drops where the Tobacco River enters Lake Superior, less than a mile north of Gay. Park at the roadside park by the river bridge. The falls are on the land side of the road: walk under the bridge on the cement footings, or cross the road and take the paths down to the falls. The park also has the shoreline and old dock ruins.
