New Preston Falls, also called Aspetuck Falls, is a 20-foot drop on the East Aspetuck River behind the shops of New Preston village in Washington. It is visible from the roadside. A small observation platform with picnic tables off CT 45 gives a closer view, about 20 feet from the base. The falls are partly man-made, below a dam.
