New England Waterfalls says the falls are fully visible from a fenced parking area next to the old Hockanum Mill on East Main Street (CT 74) and that there is nowhere else legal or safe to view them. CTMQ reported in late 2016 that the upper falls were inaccessible during state remediation work at the mill site. Current status of that parking area is unknown.
