Cleft Falls is a cascade of about 50 feet in Garnet Canyon in Grand Teton National Park, fed by snowmelt and the Middle Teton Glacier. It is highly intermittent and can be dry. From the Teton Park Road one mile south of South Jenny Lake Junction, turn west and follow a gravel road about 1 1/2 miles to the Lupine Meadows Trailhead. The trail climbs through conifers and then shrub-covered slopes; three miles up it splits, and the south fork wraps into Garnet Canyon toward the Middle Teton. Wikipedia says Cleft Falls is reached by way of the Garnet Canyon Trail, but where on the trail the falls are seen is not described. Return the same way.
