Liberty Creek Falls is on Liberty Creek in Liberty Lake Regional Park, a Spokane County park southeast of the town of Liberty Lake. Trip accounts describe two waterfalls on the creek above the cedar grove; which one this listing marks is not confirmed. From the parking area walk to the Liberty Creek Trail, which starts just past the campground. After just under a mile, at the junction where the loop begins, take the left fork. In just under half a mile the trail forks again: the Split Creek Trail on the left stays close to the creek and the Liberty Creek Trail on the right stays in the trees; they rejoin after 0.85 mile at a cedar grove. Climb a dozen switchbacks above the grove to the first waterfall. About half a mile and 400 feet higher, a second waterfall can be glimpsed to the right below a footbridge, before Camp Hughes Cabin. Return the same way, or finish the full loop past the cabin and down the Edith Hansen Trail.
