Ground & access
Mostly paved, then gravel with a slight hill and dip near the end. Small wooden viewing platform at the falls.

City Lake Falls is a small waterfall at City Lake Natural Area, a City of Cookeville park on City Lake with a boat ramp, picnic tables and the remains of the city's first water treatment plant. The trail starts at the end of the parking lot. The first part is paved and easy and leads to the old brick plant building; a gravel section then loops around a second historic building and ends at the falls, where a small wooden platform gives the view. Return the same way.
