Sloan Bridge Falls is a small falls in three sections, about 25 feet in all, on the East Fork of the Chattooga River beside the Foothills Trail in Sumter National Forest. From the south end of the Sloan Bridge Picnic Area lot, follow the Foothills Trail downstream. At about 0.3 mile a steep side path drops to a small cascade; a very short distance farther, a steeper side path leads down to the falls. NC Waterfalls uses the single name Sloan Bridge Falls, and another visitor note uses the name Upper Sloan Bridge Falls for a falls reached by a steep scramble path. Which of these drops matches this listing, and which matches the separate Lower Sloan Bridge Falls listing about 130 m downstream, is not confirmed. Return the same way.
