The Waterfalls of Oconee County: Sparkle Falls

Sparkle Falls is a waterfall of about 25 to 35 feet on Shoulder Bone Branch below Sids Falls. Follow the old logging road and narrow trail toward Sids Falls and take the right fork steeply down to the base of Sids Falls. From there, walk in the creek almost the whole 0.25 miles downstream. Near the brink of Sparkle Falls, leave the creek on the right bank (facing downstream) on an obvious path that climbs up and around and descends steeply to the base. Do not go onto the brink of the falls. This partial guide relies on visitor sources; there is no trail for the creek section.
