- Old road and unmarked path; steep, short descent to the river; creek crossing to reach the base. Downed trees have been reported on the road.
Long Creek Falls drops about 25 to 50 feet in tiers on Long Creek, about 30 yards before the creek enters the Chattooga River, inside the Chattooga Wild and Scenic River corridor. From the grassy turnaround at the end of FS 755, walk down the gravel road to the right on FS 755I to a road-end circle, then continue on the old logging road beyond it. Take the right fork at the junction SC Trails describes. Near the end, a steep side path on the left drops about 125 yards to the river; the falls are just upstream. To reach the base, cross the creek and go upstream on the far side. SC Trails says this is not an official Forest Service trail and may not have permanent markings.
