Cascada El Ancón is a falls of more than 300 feet in the San Cristóbal Canyon (Cañón San Cristóbal) on the Barranquitas and Aibonito border; it is seen from an overlook across the canyon, not from its base. The Vereda Cascada El Ancón (also called Vereda Don Félix Berríos) is a public trail in the Cañón San Cristóbal nature reserve administered by Para la Naturaleza. Enter through the small pedestrian gate at Finca Don Félix, marked with Para la Naturaleza signs. The trail follows an old dirt road, open only to people on foot, through sunny fields with ups and downs, then a shaded forest loop, and ends at railed overlooks on the canyon edge facing the falls. Return the same way or by the other side of the forest loop; much of the return is uphill.
