Wide, gently graded trail. The BLM says a wildfire heavily affected the trail and it is open but not fully restored. The trail beyond the falls is strenuous with abundant poison oak.

Susan Creek Falls is a fan-shaped falls of about 35 to 50 feet on Susan Creek, on BLM land along the North Umpqua River. Park at the Susan Creek Day-Use Area; the trail begins across Highway 138. The wide trail climbs gradually through mixed forest, joins an old roadbed, passes under powerlines, and drops into the creek bottom to a junction. There is a viewpoint on the east side of the creek, but the best view is from the west side, across a footbridge. A picnic table sits below the footbridge. Return the same way.
