Buttermilk Falls is a 15 to 20-foot falls on Spring Creek, downstream of Blue Hen Falls in the Cuyahoga Valley area. From the Boston Mill Visitor Center, cross Riverview Road to the Buckeye Trail and Blue Hen Falls Trail. Climb the stairs, cross the bridge, walk the left side of Boston Mills Road for about 1/4 mile, and cross at the marked crosswalk. Continue to a gravel path, turn right, cross a bridge and reach Blue Hen Falls. From there an unmarked path continues downstream with several creek crossings to Buttermilk Falls. Turn back at the falls: the path beyond leads to posted private property. Go Waterfalling says the path does not look official, and who manages the land at the falls is unknown.
