Rensselaerville Falls drops about 120 feet in three tiers on Tenmile Creek in the Edmund Niles Huyck Preserve. Uncovering New York describes walking about a tenth of a mile to a narrow footbridge below the falls, then taking the Upper Falls Trail straight ahead past the felt mill ruins. The trail is wide and a bit steep. It crosses another narrow bridge just above the crest, with a small dam to the left and a viewing platform down a few steps to the right. The Huyck Preserve prohibits swimming and climbing at the falls and asks visitors to stay on trails.
