Sliding Rock Falls is a steep 30-foot cascade on Hannacrois Creek in the Hannacroix Ravine Preserve west of Clarksville. NYFalls says to follow the orange blazes south from the Cass Hill Road lot, gently uphill to the top of the ravine; the falls may be seen through the trees, with a more open view about 300 feet farther. The trail does not go into the ravine. In full leaf there may be no view, so early spring, late fall or winter melt are best. A close view requires a difficult, slippery creek walk from the southern stream crossing.
