Ground & access
Easy. Short dirt path and a natural rock stairway to river level. Rocks by the river are slippery, and the flow is very strong in spring.

Alice Falls, formerly called Little Falls, is a rectangular cascade of about 35 feet on the Ausable River at the Essex and Clinton county line, just north of Keeseville. Driving north from Keeseville toward the Ausable Chasm attraction, watch for the Alice Falls Hydro Project signs on the right; they are set back from the road. Coming from the north, the entrance is 0.3 miles from Ausable Chasm. There is a parking area soon after you enter, and another farther along the dirt road on the left, past the hydro facility. Walk down the hill to the river bank and descend a natural rock stairway to a flat area at the base of the falls.
