- Moderate trail. Rocks are slippery. The upper part of Bemis Brook Trail beyond the falls is steep.
Coliseum Falls is a small waterfall on Bemis Brook in Crawford Notch State Park, below Arethusa Falls. From the parking area, walk up Arethusa Falls Road to the railroad tracks and go left onto Arethusa Falls Trail. In 0.3 miles bear left onto Bemis Brook Trail. At about 0.4 miles, Fawn Pool is signed on the left, and Coliseum Falls is a short way upstream. A state park sign there may say Bemis Falls. Return the same way, or continue to Bemis Brook Falls, after which the trail climbs steeply back to Arethusa Falls Trail.
