Trail Canyon Trailhead to Trail Canyon Falls

USFS gives two miles each way from the trailhead. Hikespeak identifies another 0.4 mile of access road below that lot; walking from the gate would add 0.8 mile return, but legal parking there remains unconfirmed.

Where to start

Hikespeak identifies a large trailhead lot 0.4 mile along Trail Canyon Road from Big Tujunga Canyon Road; bear right at the road junction. A gate can block vehicle access. If it is shut, confirm permitted parking with the district; this guide does not establish a legal roadside alternative.

Before you go

Fee information conflicts: the page lists a day-use charge and also says no pass/fee is required. Confirm with the district.
