Crockett Falls is a wide, low falls about 5 feet tall that spans the full width of the creek in David Crockett State Park. Boro Pulse describes the Shoal Creek Trail, which starts in Campground 1: walk into the woods between campsites 7 and 8, near a small playground and parking area. The start was unsigned when described, but the trail is marked with green painted rectangles on trees. It runs along the western bank of Little Shoal Creek, mostly level over a few small bridges, then climbs a hill above the water and drops down to the falls. Return the same way. A parking lot also sits just off the falls for visitors who prefer to drive.
